Microscope JEOL-JCM-7000 NeoScope purchased for ISEC in Yerevan (Armenia)

The International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia together with the Center for Ecologanoospheric Research of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia have purchased a unique electron microscope for Armenia. It will enable scientists to bring new research into the environment, materials science, pottery, nanotechnology, geology, nutrition and other fields. Thanks to the JEOL-JCM-7000 NeoScope microscope, it is possible to increase the image size by 100000 times, to determine the particle size. At the same time, the microscope has the ability to simultaneously determine the content of the 40 elements in the sample and to obtain maps of the distribution of the contents of individual elements of the selected segment.
